What to Expect
In today’s performance horse industry, the only thing that separates good competitors from great competitors is horse power. Our roping clinics teach you how to use your equine athlete to your advantage by establishing solid fundamentals and practice habits for long-term performance success. Students can expect to learn:
- Fundamentals of handling your rope
- Proper scoring techniques
- Positioning your horse for the best throw
- Establishing good practice habits
- Building confidence and consistency with your horse
- Applying the Level 1-3 exercises to breakaway roping
Note: This particular clinic will be best-suited for novice-intermediate ropers, focusing heavily on ground work, roping fundamentals, and roping the sled.

Refund Policy
Your deposit holds your spot in the clinic. Due to the nature of an event like this, all deposits are non-refundable. Those who are unable to attend will receive tuition credit toward digital product and/or service purchases made at philhaugenhorsemanship.com. Tuition credits may be applied to online training courses, 1:1 coaching calls, or toward a private clinic session.
Cancellation Policy
In the event that the clinic is cancelled by Phil Haugen Horsemanship or our hosting facilities due to weather, travel restrictions, or other unforeseeable circumstances that prohibit an event of this nature, all registered participants will be contacted via email directly with further instructions.
